What is WordPad?
WordPad is a basic text-editing app you can use to create and edit files, include text with different colors and fonts, insert pictures, and add links to other files. WordPad is free and it has some basic option. If you want more options, you buy Word. Microsoft Word offers templates to help our work complete at an ease and look professional. WordPad does not.

How to download WordPad?
You needn’t download WordPad. If you use Windows 7/8/10/11, it is available.
How to open WordPad on Windows 7/8/10/11
To open WordPad you go task bar and search “WordPad”
You can use WordPad to open and save text files (.txt), rich text files (.rtf), Word documents (.docx), and OpenDocument text files (.odt). Files in other formats will open as plain text files and might not appear as expected. The following table shows the steps to create, open, and save files.
